On being a mom!

I never knew what it was like to truley love some one 'till I had my son. Being a mom has given me a whole new outlook on life. It has it's perfect moments, then it has those moments when you want to stand up on top of a mountain and scream as loud as you possibly can. But I do have to say that there is more of the good moments then there is the bad ones. It's not until you sit back and look at this little person and you realize this little person is relying on you. You have to teach this kid right from wrong, good from the bad, the difference between truth and the lies. You want him to be a gentleman, to be brave and courageous, honest and reliable, respectful and determined. Then you wonder am i a good mother? what if i mess up with him? What if i fail? But all you can do is the best you can. Love him, and remember that what ever you do impacts this little child. You have to really watch what you do, what you say, who are your friends, what people you do and don't want around him, but at the end of the day, when he gives me a hug and says " mommy I love you" or " mommy you're my best friend" My heart melts, and I know that I am a good mother. I am doing a good job with him. Just remember that what ever you do and whatever you say that little person sleeping sound, is yours forever, and he loves you unconditionally, he doesn't care what you wear, what you look like, he just loves you for you!
